Chosen, Inc. of Wisconsin is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to strengthening foster, adoptive, and kinship families across Southeastern Wisconsin. Founded in 2015, Chosen was born from a family’s own fostering and adoption journey and a deep calling to ensure every child can grow up in a safe, loving home.

What began as a personal “yes” to fostering grew into a community-wide movement of support. From our first Family Closet in 2017 to becoming a trusted partner serving families across 14 counties, Chosen has remained rooted in the Gospel and committed to meeting both tangible and relational needs.

To date, more than 75,000 essential items have been gifted to children in care — serving over 1,750 children from 700 families — providing dignity, stability, and hope during seasons of transition.

As we’ve grown, so has our vision. In 2025, Chosen strengthened its governance, expanded leadership, and launched the Mobile Family Closet — an innovative step forward designed to bring resources directly to neighborhoods, churches, and foster care partners. This evolution reflects our commitment to listen, adapt, and serve families where they are.

From our co-founders to our volunteers and board members, many within Chosen have personal connections to foster care and adoption. We understand the challenges — and the beauty — of this calling.

Above all, we seek to bring the hope of Jesus into every aspect of our work. We offer an open and welcoming community where families are supported, valued, and never alone.
